Holy shit!!!!!!
Time right now 12.46pm, we were shaken awake this morning at 4.30am with a 7.1 quake in our city Christchurch. This was centred 30km to the west of the city and I kid you not - the house shook for over a minute. It shook so hard we could not stand up, had to crawl to a door frame to wait it out.
Very scary indeed, we had aftershocks of 5.6.
Family all fine, no damage to our house but freaked the shit out of us and our puppies. No power or water.
